Radeon VII vs RTX A5000 Laptop specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon VII GPU is faster than the RTX A5000 Laptop in gaming.

Our database shows that the Radeon VII has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon VII also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the RTX A5000 Laptop has a significantly lower TDP at 140 W when compared to the Radeon VII at 300 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon VII is better than the RTX A5000 Laptop.
