Radeon Vega 8 vs UHD 770 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 GPU is faster than the UHD 770 in gaming.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the Radeon Vega 8 and the UHD 770 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the UHD 770 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 8 at 45 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 is better than the UHD 770.
