Radeon Vega 8 vs Quadro T1000 Max-Q comparison

For gaming, the Radeon Vega 8 graphics card is better than the Quadro T1000 Max-Q in our tests.

The Quadro T1000 Max-Q has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the Radeon Vega 8 has a slightly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Quadro T1000 Max-Q at 50 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 is better than the Quadro T1000 Max-Q.
