Radeon Vega 8 vs GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER benchmarks

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card is better than the Radeon Vega 8 in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER at 285 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER over the Radeon Vega 8.
