Radeon Vega 8 vs GeForce GT 730 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Radeon Vega 8 beats the GeForce GT 730 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the GeForce GT 730 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the Radeon Vega 8 has a slightly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the GeForce GT 730 at 49 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon Vega 8 is faster than the GeForce GT 730.
