Radeon Vega 3 vs Radeon Vega 6 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Radeon Vega 6 beats the Radeon Vega 3 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that both the Radeon Vega 3 and Radeon Vega 6 both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 6 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Radeon Vega 3 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 6 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon Vega 6 over the Radeon Vega 3.
