According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU is faster than the GeForce GT 720 in gaming.
In addition, the GeForce GT 720 has a significantly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the Radeon RX 7800 XT at 263 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
