Radeon RX 6900 XT vs Radeon VII comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU is faster than the Radeon VII in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6900 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6900 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 16 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, both the Radeon RX 6900 XT and the Radeon VII have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is faster than the Radeon VII.
