Radeon RX 6900 XT vs Radeon RX 7900 GRE specs and performance

For gaming, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 6900 XT in our tests.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 16 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE has a slightly lower TDP at 260 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6900 XT at 300 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
