Radeon RX 6800M vs GeForce RTX 4060 Ti comparison
For gaming, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 6800M in our tests.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Radeon RX 6800M has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon RX 6800M has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6800M has a slightly lower TDP at 145 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti at 160 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is better than the Radeon RX 6800M.
