Radeon RX 6800 XT vs GeForce RTX 5060 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 6800 XT beats the GeForce RTX 5060 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 5060 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 5060 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 5060 has a significantly lower TDP at 145 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6800 XT at 300 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6800 XT is faster than the GeForce RTX 5060.
