Radeon RX 6700M vs Quadro P4000 specs and performance
For gaming, the Radeon RX 6700M graphics card is better than the Quadro P4000 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6700M has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6700M has slightly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro P4000 has a slightly lower TDP at 105 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6700M at 135 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6700M is faster than the Quadro P4000.
