Radeon RX 6650 XT vs Radeon RX 6700 comparison

For gaming, the Radeon RX 6650 XT graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 6700 in our tests.

Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6650 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6650 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6700 has slightly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the Radeon RX 6700 has a slightly lower TDP at 175 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6650 XT at 176 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6650 XT over the Radeon RX 6700.
