Radeon RX 6600 XT vs Radeon RX 6800 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6800 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 6600 XT in gaming.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6600 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6600 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon RX 6800 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6600 XT has a significantly lower TDP at 160 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6800 at 250 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 6800 is better than the Radeon RX 6600 XT.
