Radeon RX 6600 vs Quadro P4000 benchmarks
For gaming, the Radeon RX 6600 graphics card is better than the Quadro P4000 in our tests.
The Radeon RX 6600 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6600 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro P4000 has a slightly lower TDP at 105 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6600 at 132 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6600 is faster than the Quadro P4000.
