Radeon RX 6500 XT vs Quadro P2200 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 6500 XT beats the Quadro P2200 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6500 XT has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6500 XT also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Quadro P2200 has slightly more memory with 5 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro P2200 has a slightly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6500 XT at 107 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6500 XT over the Quadro P2200.
