Radeon RX 640 vs Iris Xe comparison
For gaming, the Iris Xe graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 640 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 640 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 640 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the Iris Xe has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon RX 640 at 50 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Iris Xe is faster than the Radeon RX 640.
