Radeon RX 590 vs P106-100 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the P106-100 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 590 in gaming.
The Radeon RX 590 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the P106-100 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the P106-100 has a significantly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the Radeon RX 590 at 175 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the P106-100 is better than the Radeon RX 590.
