Radeon RX 580X vs P106-100 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the P106-100 beats the Radeon RX 580X in gaming performance.
The P106-100 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the P106-100 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the P106-100 has a significantly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the Radeon RX 580X at 185 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the P106-100 is faster than the Radeon RX 580X.
