Radeon RX 580X vs GeForce GT 730 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GT 730 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 580X in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 580X has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 580X also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 580X has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the GeForce GT 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 49 W when compared to the Radeon RX 580X at 185 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GT 730 over the Radeon RX 580X.
