Radeon RX 580 vs TITAN Xp specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the TITAN Xp GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 580 in gaming.
Our database shows that the TITAN Xp has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the TITAN Xp also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the TITAN Xp has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 580 has a slightly lower TDP at 185 W when compared to the TITAN Xp at 250 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the TITAN Xp over the Radeon RX 580.
