Radeon RX 580 vs Radeon HD 7670M specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 580 GPU is faster than the Radeon HD 7670M in gaming.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 580 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 580 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 1 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon HD 7670M has a significantly lower TDP at 20 W when compared to the Radeon RX 580 at 185 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 580 over the Radeon HD 7670M.
