Radeon RX 580 vs GeForce GTX 750 comparison
For gaming, the Radeon RX 580 graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 750 in our tests.
The Radeon RX 580 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 580 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 580 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 750 has a significantly lower TDP at 55 W when compared to the Radeon RX 580 at 185 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 580 is better than the GeForce GTX 750.
