Radeon RX 5700 XT vs Quadro P6000 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 5700 XT beats the Quadro P6000 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Radeon RX 5700 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro P6000 has significantly more memory with 23.44 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT has a slightly lower TDP at 225 W when compared to the Quadro P6000 at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 5700 XT is faster than the Quadro P6000.
