Radeon RX 5700 XT vs Arc A770 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Arc A770 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 5700 XT in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 5700 XT has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Arc A770 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Arc A770 has a significantly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the Radeon RX 5700 XT at 225 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Arc A770 is better than the Radeon RX 5700 XT.
