Radeon RX 5700 vs GeForce GTX 770 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 5700 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 770 in gaming.
The Radeon RX 5700 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 has a slightly lower TDP at 180 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 770 at 230 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 5700 is faster than the GeForce GTX 770.
