In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 570 beats the Radeon R5 340X in gaming performance.
In addition, the Radeon R5 340X has a significantly lower TDP at 65 W when compared to the Radeon RX 570 at 150 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 570 is better than the Radeon R5 340X.
