Radeon RX 570 vs Quadro RTX 4000 specs and performance

For gaming, the Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 570 in our tests.

The Radeon RX 570 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Quadro RTX 4000 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the Radeon RX 570 has a slightly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 4000 at 160 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Quadro RTX 4000 over the Radeon RX 570.
