Radeon RX 550X vs UHD 770 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 550X GPU is faster than the UHD 770 in gaming.

Our database shows that the Radeon RX 550X has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the UHD 770 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the UHD 770 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon RX 550X at 50 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 550X is better than the UHD 770.
