Radeon RX 5500M vs T550 Laptop comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the T550 Laptop GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 5500M in gaming.
The Radeon RX 5500M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the T550 Laptop has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the T550 Laptop has a significantly lower TDP at 23 W when compared to the Radeon RX 5500M at 85 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the T550 Laptop is better than the Radeon RX 5500M.
