Radeon RX 5500M vs FirePro W7100 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 5500M beats the FirePro W7100 in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 5500M has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the FirePro W7100 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Radeon RX 5500M has a significantly lower TDP at 85 W when compared to the FirePro W7100 at 150 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 5500M is faster than the FirePro W7100.
