Radeon RX 550 vs GeForce GTX 650 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 550 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 650 in gaming.

In our comparison, the Radeon RX 550 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 550 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the Radeon RX 550 has a slightly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 650 at 64 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 550 is better than the GeForce GTX 650.
