Radeon RX 480 vs TITAN X benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the TITAN X beats the Radeon RX 480 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the TITAN X has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the TITAN X has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Radeon RX 480 has a significantly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the TITAN X at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the TITAN X is better than the Radeon RX 480.
