Radeon RX 480 vs T550 Laptop comparison

For gaming, the Radeon RX 480 graphics card is better than the T550 Laptop in our tests.

The Radeon RX 480 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the T550 Laptop has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the T550 Laptop has a significantly lower TDP at 23 W when compared to the Radeon RX 480 at 150 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 480 over the T550 Laptop.
