Radeon RX 470 vs GeForce MX250 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 470 GPU is faster than the GeForce MX250 in gaming.
Our database shows that the GeForce MX250 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Radeon RX 470 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the GeForce MX250 has a significantly lower TDP at 10 W when compared to the Radeon RX 470 at 120 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 470 is better than the GeForce MX250.
