Radeon R9 390 vs T1000 8GB specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the T1000 8GB GPU is faster than the Radeon R9 390 in gaming.
Our database shows that the T1000 8GB has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the T1000 8GB also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the T1000 8GB has a significantly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the Radeon R9 390 at 275 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the T1000 8GB is better than the Radeon R9 390.
