Radeon R9 390 vs Quadro P2200 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Quadro P2200 beats the Radeon R9 390 in gaming performance.
By comparing the spec sheets, both the Radeon R9 390 and the Quadro P2200 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Quadro P2200 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon R9 390 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 5 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Quadro P2200 has a significantly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Radeon R9 390 at 275 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro P2200 is better than the Radeon R9 390.
