Radeon R9 370 vs GeForce GTX 960M comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon R9 370 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 960M in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 960M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce GTX 960M also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 960M has a significantly lower TDP at 65 W when compared to the Radeon R9 370 at 150 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R9 370 is better than the GeForce GTX 960M.
