Radeon R7 450 vs Radeon RX 5700 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 5700 beats the Radeon R7 450 in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 5700 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 5700 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Radeon R7 450 has a significantly lower TDP at 65 W when compared to the Radeon RX 5700 at 180 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 5700 is better than the Radeon R7 450.
