Radeon R7 430 vs GeForce 830M comparison
For gaming, the GeForce 830M graphics card is better than the Radeon R7 430 in our tests.
The GeForce 830M has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce 830M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the GeForce 830M has a significantly lower TDP at 33 W when compared to the Radeon R7 430 at 50 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce 830M over the Radeon R7 430.
