Radeon R7 260X vs UHD 770 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Radeon R7 260X beats the UHD 770 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the Radeon R7 260X has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the UHD 770 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
In addition, the UHD 770 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon R7 260X at 115 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R7 260X is better than the UHD 770.
