Radeon R7 260X vs Quadro K620 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Radeon R7 260X beats the Quadro K620 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Radeon R7 260X has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Quadro K620 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Quadro K620 has a significantly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Radeon R7 260X at 115 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R7 260X is better than the Quadro K620.
