Radeon R7 260X vs Quadro K1200 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon R7 260X GPU is faster than the Quadro K1200 in gaming.
The Radeon R7 260X has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Quadro K1200 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro K1200 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro K1200 has a significantly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Radeon R7 260X at 115 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R7 260X is better than the Quadro K1200.
