Radeon R7 250 vs FirePro W2100 specs and performance

For gaming, the Radeon R7 250 graphics card is better than the FirePro W2100 in our tests.

The Radeon R7 250 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon R7 250 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the FirePro W2100 has a significantly lower TDP at 26 W when compared to the Radeon R7 250 at 75 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R7 250 is better than the FirePro W2100.
