Radeon R5 240 vs Radeon RX 560 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 560 GPU is faster than the Radeon R5 240 in gaming.

Our database shows that the Radeon RX 560 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon RX 560 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.

In addition, the Radeon R5 240 has a significantly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the Radeon RX 560 at 80 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 560 is better than the Radeon R5 240.
