Radeon R5 240 vs Quadro K1000M benchmarks
For gaming, the Radeon R5 240 graphics card is better than the Quadro K1000M in our tests.
In our comparison, the Quadro K1000M has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro K1000M has a slightly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Radeon R5 240 at 50 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon R5 240 over the Quadro K1000M.
