Radeon R5 240 vs GeForce GTX 650 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 650 beats the Radeon R5 240 in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
As stated by the manufacturer, they both have the same amount of memory at 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon R5 240 has a slightly lower TDP at 50 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 650 at 64 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 650 is faster than the Radeon R5 240.
