Radeon HD 8470 vs GeForce RTX 5080 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 5080 GPU is faster than the Radeon HD 8470 in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 5080 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 5080 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 1 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Radeon HD 8470 has a significantly lower TDP at 35 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 5080 at 360 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 5080 is better than the Radeon HD 8470.
