According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce 820M GPU is faster than the Radeon HD 7650M in gaming.
In addition, the Radeon HD 7650M has a significantly lower TDP at 20 W when compared to the GeForce 820M at 45 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
