Quadro RTX 5000 vs RTX A4000 specs and performance

For gaming, the RTX A4000 graphics card is better than the Quadro RTX 5000 in our tests.

Our database shows that the Quadro RTX 5000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Quadro RTX 5000 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the RTX A4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 140 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 5000 at 230 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the RTX A4000 is better than the Quadro RTX 5000.
